What an election!
Pro-marijuana initiatives won across the state and country! Two of these measures, Amendment 64 and Initiative 301 (Fort Collins) were primarily authored by the Vicente Sederberg, LLC team. Additionally, we also provided consultation in the drafting of Massachusetts’ Measure 3 which creates a brand new medical marijuana industry in Mass.

Amendment 64
Not only was our team here at Vicente Sederberg, LLC one of the primary authors of Amendment 64, our own Brian Vicente was the co-director of this historic campaign. Fort Collins Initiative 301
I-301 is another measure drafted by our team. This measure brings medical marijuana businesses back to Fort Collins. The measure does impose a cap on the number of businesses permitted; however, the businesses that had a license and were shut down can be grandfathered back in if they meet certain requirements. Massachusetts
We are proud to announce that Vicente Sederberg has opened a brand new law office in Massachusetts with the newest member of our team, Adam Fine. Question 3 will permit 35 non-profit medical marijuana treatment centers in the state. Colorado Medical Marijuana
Our Colorado medical marijuana business and licensing practice is more vibrant now than ever! We are continuing to help our clients obtain licenses, buy and sell businesses, negotiate leases, draft operating agreements, etc. Additionally, we are also working closely with the DOR to implement new rules regarding common ownership and testing and, importantly, to revise some of the unworkable regulations currently in place.
